THE ROAD TO UTMB
HOKA Kodiak Ultra Marathons by UTMB is a UTMB World Series Major in 2025. This event is the start towards your quest to the UTMB World Series Finals in Chamonix, the mythic UTMB Mont Blanc, the holy grail of trail running in the heart of the Alps, set on the three key distances: OCC (50K), CCC® (100K) and UTMB® (100M), the pinnacle trail running event.
As a UTMB World Series Major Event, 210 runners are also granted automatic qualification for the UTMB World Series Finals through each Major. This includes age-group category winners and the top 10 male and female runners in the 100M, 100K and 50K categories.
Also, because HOKA Kodiak Ultra Marathons by UTMB is a UTMB World Series Major event, all finishers of the Kodiak Ultra Marathons by UTMB collect double the Running Stones that can be applied to the UTMB Mont-Blanc draw. To be eligible for the lottery, runners need to have a least one Running Stone and a valid UTMB Index.
Dual Qualifier
Kodiak Ultra Marathons by UTMB is a dual qualifier for the iconic UTMB®️ World Series Finals and the Western States Endurance Run. Earn double the running stones and get your UTMB Index when you complete the 100M, 100K, 50K or 21K race. And, finish the 2025 100M race in less than 36 hours and the 100K race in less than 18 hours will have your 2026 Western States Qualifier.
EQUAL RIGHTS AND OPPORTUNITIES
UTMB strongly believes in equal rights and opportunities for all members of the trail-running community.
