Big Bear Lake sits within the San Bernardino National Forest. The National Forest is ripe for outdoor activities – there's plenty of hiking, fishing, and even horseback riding throughout the park. Climb to the tallest point in the Big Bear Valley, Sugarloaf Mountain, or test your upper body strength and go climbing in Holcomb Valley.
