CREW RULES & GUIDELINES
- Crew access is limited to the below aid stations. The event is under strict permit regulations from the US Forest Service and have agreed to limit our impact, especially with vehicles. Anyone found not adhering to the parking regulations risks the disqualification of their runner. Crews must adhere to all signs posted at the Aid Station and instructions given by the volunteers and staff. There will be strict no access areas for crews within the Aid Station areas.
- Crews and spectators must follow all city, county, and state laws while driving and parking. Note that California Adventure Pass enforcement may be in effect where posted. Adventure passes can be purchased for $5 per day at many outlets throughout the Big Bear Valley
- Crews are not allowed to access or interfere with the Aid Station and its operations. 17. Crewing is ONLY allowed in the designated areas within each of the Aid Station locations that permit crew access (listed in Runner Guide). Runner crewing is forbidden at all other Aid Stations, as well as at any other point of the race route.
- Park only in designated parking lots and parking spaces. Parking in parking lots that are designated ‘No Parking’ will not be tolerated. Do not block businesses or driveways.

PACER RULES AND REGULATIONS
Pacers are allowed in the 100-mile race only.
- All pacers must sign a waiver and pick up their own pacer bib during the designated check-in times. Please refer to the Runner Guide and Race Weekend Event Schedule for pacer check-in details. Pacers must check in and sign the waiver in person; bib pickup by another individual is not permitted.
- Pacers must be at least 18 years old.
- Pacers must wear their pacer bib at all times and it must be visible from the front.
- Pacers must accompany their runner only on the section(s) of the course specified in the Runner Guide.
- Runners are allowed to have one pacer at a time.
- Race Management cannot guarantee the immediate extraction of pacers from remote aid stations. Runners will have priority, and pacers may need to wait until the aid station closes before transportation is available.
- Pacers must carry all mandatory gear required for the 100M race while pacing (see the Mandatory Equipment Checklist on the race website).
- No muling is permitted. Pacers may not carry nutrition, water, gear or other supplies for their runner.
- Pacers must remain with their runner entering and exiting aid stations. The pacer may aid in filling water bottles and obtaining food within the aid station.
- Pacers may not physically assist their runner in moving along the course unless it is an emergency.
- Pacer drop bags are not permitted. Any pacer supplies must fit within the runner's approved gear bags.
- Pacers must follow all other race regulations. Any pacer found in violation of the Pacer Rules and Regulations, or not carrying the required mandatory gear, may result in the disqualification of their runner.
*** IMPORTANT: 2026 Routes pending approval by the US Forest Service. Minor changes could be made before race day to avoid hazard areas. An email will be sent to all registered participants after the routes are approved. ***
